The UNM Mailing Systems Department is to be used for Official University purposes only. Campus mail is interdepartmental mail addressed by campus senders to campus recipients. Campus mail must be properly addressed with Name, Department and Mail Stop Code. When addressing a campus envelope, all previous addresses must be marked through to guarantee proper delivery to the appropriate party.
If a regular envelope is used then "CAMPUS MAIL" must be clearly written, typed, printed, or stamped on the front of the envelope, otherwise your mail may be sent to the USPS.
Mail Stop Codes should be used in the following addressing format example:
Your Department Name
Your Department MSC
1 University of New Mexico
Albuquerque NM 87131-0001
Recipient's Department Name
